Professional Development Plan (Steps or Strategies) to Support Action Steps (if applicable): [from 4, 4a, 4b, & 4c]

Professional development in June 2004 will give elementary and middle/high school teachers the opportunity to explore many internet resources to help prepare students for state assessments.  Trained instructors will provide training for two days to focus on specific grade levels and reading/language arts skills.  Teachers have previously received P.A.S.S. test training through Think Link Learning.  The Title I teacher will receive staff development in the development of remedial reading programs.

Parent & Community Involvement (Steps or Strategies) to Support Action Steps (if applicable): [from 4, 4a, 4b, & 4c]

Parents will receive information regarding remedial programs and after-school tutoring programs.  Conferences and meetings will be held as needed to update parents on student progress and areas of need.
